2024 Color Trends

A neutral color palette has reigned supreme in clothing, home décor, and of course, weddings for years now… is 2024 the year we see more color added back into our life? It looks like the trend may be headed that direction!

There is no doubt that tans, creams, blush and green are lovely and classic… but couples are using different color palettes to bring in a variety of moods and emotions to their big day now, too! Here are some color palettes that we are loving:

Dark and moody palettes are gaining popularity for couples who want to add a touch of drama and intrigue to their wedding. Deep burgundy, forest green, and inky black are some of the shades you’ll see in these striking color schemes. This trend is perfect for winter weddings!

For those brides not ready to take a big jump into color, but want their wedding to stand out a bit, try incorporating a lavender or an ethereal blue… and for one step further, put the two together! Soft and romantic, these pastel hues can be paired with different shades of lilac, dusty blue, and gray to create a serene and composed atmosphere. Lavender is an excellent choice for spring and summer weddings and pairs wonderfully with vintage and garden-inspired themes.

Another color trend to consider is a sunset-inspired palette. These fiery oranges, passionate reds, soft pinks, and dusty corals are all about embracing the warm and vibrant hues of nature’s most breathtaking moments. These colors are particularly well-suited for outdoor weddings- imagine a ceremony with a backdrop of the setting sun or a reception that transitions from day to night, mirroring the changing colors of a sunset. Sunset colors are lively and joyful, making them perfect for celebrations that want to exude warmth and happiness.

Wedding color trends for 2024 offer a diverse array of options, catering to a wide range of styles and preferences. Whether you opt for the dark and moody palette, something more serene, the vibrant sunset colors, or stick to the classic neutral color palette… embrace the colors that resonate with you and let them inspire a truly unforgettable wedding experience!
